Central County Emergency 911 is building a new building! Over the course of the project this page will be the source of the latest updates and pictures.

November 8, 2005 - Board of Directors vote to hire Construction Strategies, Inc. as construction manager.
March 29, 2006 - Board of Directors vote to hire Rataj Krueger Architects Inc. as architect.
April 2006 - Site surveys, soil testing begin as well as preliminary drawings.
July 26, 2006 - City of Ellisville Board of Adjustment approved the requested variances.
September 20, 2006 - City of Ellisville City Council approves all the requested variances.
November 8, 2006 - Bid Opening for General Contractor
December 6, 2006 - Board of Directors awards bid to Wright Construction - General Contractor
January 2, 2007 - Contractors begin excavation work.
February 19, 2007 - Concrete work begins on the footings.
April 20, 2007 - Concrete floor is poured.
May 24, 2007 - Rest of second floor is poured.
June 1, 2007 - Major concrete work is completed.
June 25, 2007 - Roof trusses were installed on Friday June 22, 2007.
July 10, 2007 - Major sheet rocking begins downstairs.
July 18, 2007 - Retaining wall completed in back. Most of the outside masonry is complete. Still working on the south side.
August 21, 2007 - Not able to post as many pictures as the contractor now locks the building at night.
October 2, 2007 - Contractor informs us that we can begin moving on October 15, 2007. We will operate out of the backup site for up to two weeks.
October 24, 2007 - The old Central County building is torn down.
October 25, 2007 - Central County begins operating out of the new building at 1700 hrs.
November 12, 2007 - Installation of the new dispatch consoles begins.
